Drumming works with children and young people!
It promotes self-esteem, self-motivation, coordination, focus, confidence and commitment.
Most of all it helps them to have FUN!
From one-off sessions to structured courses and performances, Rhythmweave can do it all. We bring stories, songs, instruments and rhythms from many different traditions: African, Asian, South American, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Oriental.

We bring enough instruments for all (no bad-tempered sharing, no impatient waiting your turn!)
We work with:
Pre-school children (including nurseries, parent-and-toddler groups, and Surestart programmes)
Schools: We'll work with your Primary, Secondary and Special needs pupils, provide staff training and team-building events and even come to your conferences
Playschemes, Cubs, Scouts, Guides, after-school and holiday clubs
Our events fit with National Curriculum targets, for example:
Responding to signals
Working with timbre, pitch and rhythm
Developing listening, composing and performing skills
Linking with PSHE and Citizenship
Our events are tailored to meet your requirements. Here are a few ideas of the kind of things we can do.
Cultural awareness - We bring drums, music and stories from many parts of the world to promote knowledge of, and interest in, other cultures
Arts weeks - We can work with groups from 6 - 100 for one-off workshops or structured courses leading to a performance.
Story telling workshops - weaving stories and rhythm into an exciting and energetic "rhythm bash"
